Our first travel for the year brought us to Tagbilaran City, Bohol, as my partner needed to attend an anesthesiologists’ convention in the city. I tagged along, turning a work-related trip into a relaxing mini getaway.

We’re currently staying at Hotel John, which is conveniently located right beside the Metrocenter Hotel, the convention venue. Its central location made it easy to explore nearby cafés and restaurants—something I always look forward to when traveling.

One of the standout places we tried during our stay is Becca Café x Bistro, located at 348 Venancio P. Inting Avenue, Tagbilaran City, Bohol. We dined here yesterday, and I enjoyed the experience so much that I ended up coming back again today.

Earlier today, I planned to visit The Hamlet, another coffee spot in Tagbilaran. Unfortunately, when I arrived, it was closed. Rather than searching far, I decided to return to Becca Café x Bistro—a decision I didn’t regret at all.
