We recently dropped by Garlic Kitchen, located at 56 Maginhawa, Diliman, Quezon City, and I just had to share the experience because it was that memorable for two reasons: one, it was our second daughter's birthday, and two, the food is superb.

First off, let’s talk about the ambiance. The place is really nice and laid-back, perfect for Maginhawa vibes. They offer both indoor dining and al fresco seating, so whether you want air-conditioned comfort or a breezy outdoor setup, you’ve got options. It’s the kind of place where you can chill, talk for hours, and enjoy good food without feeling rushed.

Now for the food, honestly, it was scrumptious. Everything we tried was flavorful and satisfying, and you can tell that care really goes into how the dishes are prepared. If you’re a garlic lover (or even if you’re not), this place will win you over.
Here are the foods that we ordered:

In terms of pricing, it’s pretty reasonable for the quality you’re getting. Prices range from ₱225 to ₱1,080, so there are options whether you’re on a budget or looking to splurge a little on a hearty meal.
One thing to note, though: service was a bit slow during our visit. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind, especially if you’re super hungry or in a rush. That said, the staff were still polite and accommodating, so the overall experience stayed positive.
All in all, it was a great dining experience, and I can confidently say I’ll definitely be back again. If you’re looking for a cozy place along Maginhawa with good food and a relaxed atmosphere, I highly recommend Garlic Kitchen. It’s perfect for casual dates, family meals, or just catching up with friends over really good food.
Have you been there already? If not, maybe it’s time to add it to your food crawl list.
xoxo,
